The Strengths and Advantages of Custom
Sportswear Pty Ltd
Price
On the same garment, we believe no competitor can
beat our price without jeopardizing quality and standards.
Quality All our garments are made to high standards
using only the best in materials. Custom Sportswear
will always stand by our product and will never drop
our standards to meet a price point. We reinforce all
seams and bar tack all stress points.
Delivery Delivery is the biggest cause of stress
for all concerned when ordering apparel. Custom Sportswear
do not rely on anyone else for any part of the manufacturing
process, so we have total control over all facets. We
also have a back up for each part of the process for
use in emergency orders, increased work load or for
when that unexpected happens.
Service Custom Sportswear understands all to
well what type of relationship must be upheld between
licensee and licensor to maintain a successful licence
contract. All Custom Sportswear employees are rationale
and approachable people highly trained in the area of
sublimation and sportswear manufacture.
Local Experience Custom Sportswear are sublimation
specialists with over 25 years joint experience within
the sportswear and printing industry. Custom
Sportswear are one of only a few companies in Australia
that can produce all facets of a sublimated garment
from start to finish in house.
Off
Shore Experience Custom Sportswear's huge strength
is our ability to manufacture off shore within our own
factory. Employing 30 to 40 people.
Off Shore Factory Director, The Managing Director
of our Off Shore factory has been producing fabric for
the international market for 25 years, specialising
in cotton, polyester, and poly cotton mix. Duties include
material manufacture, pattern making, printing, embroidery,
heat pressing, garment construction, inventory and freight.
We produce all our own fabrics within our own
factory thus allowing us to not rely on a middle man
thus creating control.
Just some of the materials we produce include,
cotton and polyester lycra, aerolite, microfibre and
several grades of footy fabrics, cool dry materials
and Lacoste fabrics.
Majority of deliveries from overseas are sent air
freight 3 days.
·Factory
Equipment When setting up Custom Sportswear, we knew
through experience within the garment industry anything
can happen and usually does. For this reason we have
put in place a back up for every conceivable problem
and machine.
Within our local factory we have all the machinery and
personnel required to do all processes required for
sublimation and logo application. These machines and
the personnel to run them is mirrored two fold within
our Offshore factory.
We consider this so important, we often have idle machines
in either factory for the purpose of emergency only.
Local
Suppliers On occasion we can use local suppliers
for such garments as pique polo shirts and cotton tee
shirts. Local suppliers are useful when a club requires
a minimum quantity of garments on a regular basis.
Embroidery and Tee shirt printing we often
use a local company for our small run embroidery and
t-shirt printing, allowing us time to concentrate on
our niche sublimated sportswear and apparel.
Sub
Contractors Custom Sportswear has based the whole
factory and setup of the business with the idea in mind
that the fewer the sub contactors the better. This is
so that we can always be in total control of all orders
relying on no one.
One area that we need to use sub contractors is if a
team or association requires an Australian made product.
Due to the financial burden of having trained sewers
employed and not busy, we have reached an agreement
with a local sewer.
Prostitch The Director of Prostitch is Kham
Nguyen. He has been making garments for the sportswear,
corporate and school market for over 14 years. Have
been producing a wide range of garments specialising
in pattern making and garment construction. Has access
to over 30 sewers at any one time and has the ability
to turn orders around immediately for Custom Sportswear.

What is Sublimation Printing
Is
the process in which we create an all over design on
a garment. It is a transfer method where we screen print
or digital print posters to carry your garments design.
We then through a heat press process, transfer the image
from poster to fabric. The ink on the poster turns to
gas when under extreme temperature, the gas penetrates
the fabric fibres thus dyeing the fabric, because the
colour is now within the fabric and not just on top.
It does not fade, peel or crack.
